Administering Microsoft SQL Server Database - Project Based Training

This project based training provides students with the knowledge and skills to maintain Microsoft SQL Server database. The course focuses on teaching individuals how to use SQL Server product features and tools related to maintaining a database. 

You will learn and get experience on:

  • System infrastructures – On Azure platform - Operating system and Networking

  • SQL Server Architecture - Install and configure SQL Server. - Configure SQL Server databases and storage.

  • Manage SQL Server security. - Windows/SQL logins, Roles, password Policy, Audit data access and encrypt data.

  • Plan and implement a backup strategy.

  • Automate SQL Server maintenance with SQL Server Agent Jobs.

  • Trace SQL Server activity.

  • Migrate SQL server form old versions to newer version of SQL Servers.

  • Implement High Availability and Disaster recovery options - Clustering, log shipping, Replication, Mirroring and Alwayson AGs

  • Develop high performance SQL server database. - SQL check, activity monitor, SQL profiler, event viewer, error logs DMVs, wait status

  • Configure Database Mail, alerts and notifications.

  • Install/configure SSIS and SSRS services and make it available for business.

  • Prepare and Pass Microsoft SQL server certification exam

Note: This course is designed for customers who are interested in learning SQL Server 2012 to SQL Server 2017. It covers the new features in SQL Server, but also the important capabilities across the SQL Server data platform.
